Original Acrylics on paper. If you are looking for art with an Argentine flavor you need look no further than the works of Aldo Biglione, a visiting artist at Central Michigan University. His works include such pieces as “Don't Cry for Me Argentina” and many other pieces imbued with political and cultural themes. Biglione works are etchings done with multimedia enhancements. Many pieces feature the Argentine way of life including tango dancers and bullfighters. His art has a very optimistic feel despite the portrayal of many of the problems his country faces. Biglione moved to Mt. Pleasant, Ml. to join members of his extended family residing in the central Michigan area. |
